Hidden gem for sure. Husband said, "Find me a salad bar & we'll eat lunch in Jackson." Salad Bar at Choice's Cafe is spectacular!

Absolutely the best hospital food you will find ever!! The staff is so kind, the cooks are absolutely amazing. The salad bar is so fresh daily with many great options, a full menu plus specials made daily from each cook. I choose to eat here over any other place in town as it's also affordable.

We go to the resturant quite often to get salads and soups however the cooks need to stop putting the chicken on skewers in the salads. The 2 salads I got today were disgusting!!!--first of all I could barely get the chicken off of the skewer and when I did it was still raw looking and slimy where it was attached to the skewer--made me gag! I ate the salad--threw the chicken away. What's wrong with just cutting the chicken into cubes and cooking it on a grill BEFORE you put it in the salad? I don't like paying almost $20.00 for 2 salads and throwing away a good portion of it. I would think cooking for a hospital would make the cooks aware of eating undercooked chicken and the health hzards associated with it.

This is one of the best hospital cafeterias I’ve encountered as a physician. The salmon and tuna poke bowls are amazing value. Kimchi and curried cauliflower on the salad bar. Serious Brainfood.

Not a lot of info on gluten or dairy free menu items. Got “potatoes” with my egg scramble thinking cubed chunks and they were crumbled up fried hashbrown patty’s.
