I have been coming here for years.. The service is exceptional the food is absolutely awful if I could give them zero stars for the food I would. The “new owners” who have been here for a little while aren’t listening to anything customers tell them. They’re changing food suppliers because it’s “cheaper” yet still raising the cost of the food, the problem is the suppliers they’re changing to are awful the food is no longer good and it’s heartbreaking because you used to be the only place we would come. They take stuff away because they don’t want kids hands in them on the salad bar yet they replace it with something else that kids can still put their hands in. It’s not about the kids that was an excuse because they want to run a business without paying the prices needed to keep it running.

I never leave reviews but I absolutely HAD to on this one!! By far, hands down, not even a close second the best meatloaf I’ve ever eaten in my life!! 10/10 Thursdays special is meatloaf and 3 sides of your choice for $10.50!!

First, the mini burgers are great! But we ordered three chicken tenders that were so small and not done! The breading was soft and did not stay on the chicken and we were not able to eat them! It was a waste of our money.

Went with my whole family and a first time experience. My sister lives in Chickamauga and has frequented Choos. I must say that it lived up to the hype. We went about 45 minutes prior to closing, I could tell it had been quite a day for the staff, but they were still fantastic. The manager, I mean I assume he was the manager, came over and checked on this a few times and gave us some recommendations to which he was very right. We had the catfish basket, the shrimp basket, pulled pork sandwich, and salad bar with a slew of sides. All of it was amazing but I would say the catfish was the best. The seasoning is top-notch. Also, I loved the hush puppies and the fried okra was fantastic. I definitely recommend. Real hometown,, quaint, family style place.

I stopped Friday evening February 6th to get a three-piece catfish plate double okra and slaw. I was tired I ordered my food. I ordered my fish to be fried hard. I sat and waited 7 minutes or so on my fish which I thought was too soon. They brought the fish plate out to the car I left and came home. The fish was so soggy in the middle I was almost gagging trying to swallow it because it felt like I was eating raw fish with crust. So I called the place back to let them know that I was not pleased. I was not asking for a refund nor was I asking for a new plate. I told the man I live too far to drive back and I just wanted him to know what I experienced with my plate. All he could say was, Well we have never had a problem with our fish before nobody has ever complained. So I said thank you si
