Christos West Lafayette

This was my 1st time to visit and eat at Christos. My children and I met with my parents for an early Christmas lunch. We were very impressed. The Atmosphere was amazing. It was like fine dining but also very casual and comfortable. The food was perfect and the service was outstanding. We arrived right at noon and there was about a 20 minute wait but that only assured us that the wait must he worth it. We waited along side Berry Odom, the head coach of Purdue University's football program. We had the Mozzarella Wraps as an appetizer and these things were amazing! Imagine a mozzarella stick but instead of breading they were wrapped in a tortilla and deep fried! Light, crisp and so tasty! They disappeared quickly. We were seated quickly, even though it was pretty busy with the before and after church crowds. I had the French toast and bacon. You can see in my pictures that the bread used was big for French toast. It was good, as was the bacon. However, it wasn’t “5 star” good. I had coffee with my meal. The coffee was good, but I wasn’t offered a top off or refill again until we were paying the bill at the end of the visit. Christos is a business that we frequent several times a year, and we will return again soon.

Food was good. Husband said the pork chops were very good. They looked to be tender and juicy. Scrambled eggs and toast was also good. Prices were good. Our server was very busy. It was a little chilly in the restaurant. I kept my jacket on and had hot tea. We will return.

The atmosphere was very friendly & relaxing. Greeted at the door with a welcoming smile. Our waitress was very attentive & had great customer service! The food was brought out really fast & it was plentiful & delicious! The menu had something for everyone! If your trying to watch your carbs & want something good. Try the smothered grilled chicken!

Biscuits and gravy were delicious eggs bacon toast spot on. Pancakes were outstanding.
