Chronic Tacos Newport Beach Balboa

I would give this place 6 stars if I could, Sebastian made the food and his service was amazing! The food was just as good as the service! I was looking for a good spot to get fish tacos in Newport Beach and went to Cabo Cantina. They let me know they don’t have authentic fish tacos and didn’t know where I can find them. I ended up going across the street and stumbling upon this place and when I say they fish tacos are spectacular I mean it, the mahi mahi fish tacos here are a 15/10 experience!!

Horrible service. Fernando and his coworker with the small top pony tall twice were rude threaten me twice refused to serve me and my family all women on two different occasions . Threatened to take my phone and call the police on us for no reason. Horrible hatred I’ve ever received . I was afraid after they made me of everyone order on the computer with no one in line they would do something to my food. Both men were super aggressive to two women and a child. We are terrified for our life. Please be AWARE !

Service was 10/10!!!! Came in for a bowl, the workers were so kind, cracking jokes and made sure we got everything we needed. Ended up getting the churros and they were SO GOOD. If you go here you HAVE to get the churros! They’re not the gross overly processed churros, they’re made here from scratch by one of the workers and they’re to die for! Love this place!!!! Always a go to on Balboa

visited this place to try their churros and was pleased with my choice! I had the small bites churros, which were fresh and delicious. They also offer a fantastic variety of tacos and burritos that looked tempting. I will definitely return to sample more from their menu.

Ricardo and his Crew were slammed today, line out the door. Typically when I see that I expect awful service... And I could not have been more wrong.
