CHR Restaurant in Gainesville is absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and beautifully presented. The staff went above and beyond — everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel valued as guests. The food was outstanding. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and prepared to perfection. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. The service was prompt without ever feeling rushed, and the team’s positive energy made the entire experience even more enjoyable. This was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Gainesville. I highly recommend CHR Restaurant to anyone looking for amazing food and exceptional service. I will definitely be returning!

Our dining experience at CHR in Gainesville, GA was nothing short of exceptional. Our table enjoyed a variety of small plates, each one absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. The Crab Arancini, Lobster Cakes, Sticky Pork Belly, and Capetown Prawns were all flavorful, well-balanced, and a perfect start to the evening. For entrées, we ordered the Lamb Chops, 8oz Filet, and Salmon—each dish was top tier. The proteins were cooked to perfection, seasoned impeccably, and presented with care. Every bite reflected the quality and attention to detail CHR puts into their menu. Dessert was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. I have lived in the square of Gainesville, Ga for a couple of years now. I’ve seen the growth and all the restaurants and the only thing it was lacking was a fine dining, superb, and the highest of quality steakhouse. This restaurant was built with precision and meticulous thought an expertise. It towers over most everything in the square for sure. I have probably been there since it opened 20+ times and never had a bad experience Executive Chef, Jeremy Green, is always adding to the menu since they opened with seafood towers, new desserts, different entrée items and the bartenders really have the creativity going on with great drinks!! Absolutely phenomenal. Party of 12 on a Friday night, packed house, and the entire experience was as smooth and seamless as if we were the only people there. The wait staff were attentive and polite. The food was beyond expectation. And the drinks were exquisite. You will not be disappointed in ANYTHING that you order. From the sun-dried tomato focaccia bread, to the 30-day aged tomahawk to the creme brulee, care and expertise drip from every detail. Hey Gainesville! Had the opportunity to visit here and it was great. I enjoyed fresh shucked blue point oysters on the half shell with a tasty mignonette & cocktail sauce. Fresh baked Focaccia & rolls with savory salt butter, tea butter & balsamic vinegar. Great selection of wines, spirits and beer. The ribeye was delicious & had the perfect char-crust! The roasted garlic & jus completed the steak along with the wonderful wine I was fortunate to enjoy with newly acquainted friends ! Can’t wait to return & explore the menu.
