Customer Reviews
This was my first time trying Sichuan food. I expected it to be oily and spicy, but I didn’t expect the numbing kind of spicy! We ordered the Mapo Tofu, and from the very first bite, my mouth went numb — definitely a unique experience. We came on a Sunday during brunch with a party of two. The place was spacious, and we got seated right away even though there were already a few tables filled. Each table has a QR code to order from your phone, which I thought was a clever idea. A few dishes showed as unavailable when ordering online, but when we asked the server, he said they actually had them. The server was very accommodating, especially considering it seemed like he was the only one serving. The food overall was a bit on the salty side, but the crispy pancake with beef and cilantro stood
I had the Dandan noodles, which were comfortingly spicy and reasonably priced at $14. I don’t recommend eating the sauce once you’ve finished the noodles, as it’s too strong by itself. As a coating for the noodles, it’s tasty and there’s plenty of pork. Ordering is via QR code and service is quick.
Went on a Sat afternoon. Place was not very busy but it took a bit to get seated. Had to ask for paper menus. Picked one safe dish and one new dish. Worth it! We got the pumpkin fried with salted egg yolks and some vegetarian noodles.
Absolutely Delicious! You order using your phone which i personally loved as im introverted. Each table has its own QR code so the waitress knows where the order goes. The atmosphere was light and laid back. The fried sticky rice came out warm. Never had a treat so yummy! I ate a few before trying the soup and i ate them throughout my meal to get a break from the spice. The Spicy Chicken noodles were amazing i got the rice noodles as i cant have gluten. (Full disclosure i didnt ASK if it was actually gluten free, i just assumed. Im not Celiac just a health condition that makes me limit dairy and gluten.) i would ask if you want to know for sure! A bit a drive for me to get there but will def be returning again ☺️🤗
I tried Dan Dan Noodles and another dish that I forgot the name lol. Portion is huge and meat is tender and savory 😋
