Chuck-A-Rama

I had two plates of salad and salads. A few hot items, the shrimp and fish were good. The vinegar pickles were great. The soft serve ice cream was good. The waitress did a really good job of keeping up with the drinks and cleaning up after us. Her name is Aliya. Had a good time. Thanks.

Honest review. I went here today with a friend, and we both felt sick after eating. I felt extremely bloated after my first plate, but at first I didn’t take it too seriously. My friend felt the same way, and I’ve honestly never heard him complain about food before. We left the restaurant around 8:00 PM and went to visit friends nearby. Around 9:00 PM, when we walked back toward the car, I vomited everything I had eaten in the Chuck-A-Rama parking lot. I apologize for that and feel bad for the staff, because the people working there were actually very nice. I really hate having to write a bad review, but the food wasn’t just not very tasty — it made us feel physically unwell. We both felt unusually bloated despite not eating much. We haven’t been to this location since covid hit. We live out of state and had to go to Logan and was looking forward to eating here. Highly disappointed the only meat options were baked and fried chicken, chicken fried steak and fish. Nothing like the pictures show. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning!

I went here with my brother excited to go to a buffet. I knew it was going to be expensive but decided to try this place again as the first time I was disappointed and it was a long time ago. We got our plates and sat down and about 10 minutes later some lady came up to us and said she was our waitress and could she get anything for us.. my brother and I both were extremely confused as to why there is a waitress at a buffet we said no we can get our own drinks.. it was awkward but not as awkward as when I went to get another plate and overheard this lady in the back talk about how weird we are and how we stared at her for a long time without saying anything. I didn't tell my brother about this but it made me sad. We won't be going back. I still don't understand why there was a waitress.. i
