Customer Reviews
I usually dont visit chain restaurants but Chuys has been an Austin staple and this was my first visit in 10 plus years. I was surely not disappointed, great food, good quantity, very reasonable prices in this day and age and friendly service too. I sat at the bar and the friendly bartender Alex was quick to get me the chips and salsa. Ordered their signature margarita which was smooth and inviting. The food was delicious and the quantity excellent, got the chimichanga and a pablano chili with cheese and the accompaniments. Definitely a place where I see myself going again, they get pretty busy over the weekend.
We went for an early dinner to this new location. The decor is beautiful and there’s lots of parking. Service was friendly and very attentive. Food was fresh and delicious!! This was a very enjoyable relaxing meal!
Wow, this place is awful. We sat at the corner end of the bar, next to the margarita machine. The smell of mold coming from the machine was overwhelming. I had chicken tacos Al carbon. They took a long time to come out and came cold. The corn tortillas were raw and falling apart. I asked for more cooked tortillas and they gave me an additional 2 raw tortillas. My boyfriend had crispy beef tacos. They were also cold and the shells had split in half. The salsa tasted fermented. Avoid this place like the plague. I’m grateful and shocked we didn’t get sick.
First time visiting. This location is relatively small compared to the ones in Houston, which means less seating available and more waiting time. We still got greeted right away and sat within a short period of time. We were served fresh chips and salsa. We ordered fajita nachos, beef fajita tacos, and green enchiladas(all pictured). The quality and freshness is there, actually my favorite dish this time was the green enchiladas along with green chili rice. I ordered the hatch sauce and it was delicious as well. I recommend it. I will have to come back and try their margaritas.
NOT HAPPY WITH YALL TODAY My food was set to be ready at 5:55 pm i showed up at 6 pm and checked in. At 6:15 several cars had came and left so i decided to go inside just in case it was more helpful to the staff. They give me my order don’t apologize then i get to the car to check it and its missing COMPLIMENTARY salsas. I go back to get them. Then i get home pick up the bag to get off the car and my food flies out of the bottom and the lid to my soup wasn’t securely put on. UNACCEPTABLE. Being busy isn’t an excuse to not provide good customer service.
