Great food, service, and atmosphere. Beto our server always makes it a great experience. Food is always in large portions, tasty, served hot and fast. Much effort has went into the hand carved fish on the ceiling to the hand painted tile on the floor that makes up the eclectic decor that keeps your mind occupied throughout your dining experience. Patio dining is available weather permitting. Great place to get your Tex-Mex fix.
I came in today with my wife, to celebrate my birthday tomorrow. Alex provided us with phenomenal service. We got the chicken fajitas to share, which was an amazing value! Also their queso is amazing, as well as the creamy jalapeno ranch. I didn't care for the salsa as it was very tomato forward! But my wife enjoyed it. 6/5 stars if I could. I would call this place Mexican meets 50s diner, in all the best ways!!
We prefer to eat at small, local, non-chain restaurants when we travel. However, we came across Chuy's late one afternoon and are glad we did. The decor was unusual; definitely your stereotypical Tex-Mex. The ceiling was covered with hubcaps and there were portraits of lowriders on the walls. Although it is a chain restaurant, we do not have them in our area. Our server was very helpful and patient explaining the menu and the difference in the sauces to us. Everything we ordered, from the chips and salsa to the fajitas and burrito, was delicious! The servings were huge! We had enough for 2 - 3 meals. We will be back!
First time here. Service was AMAZING!! Food was really good. Wasn't impressed with Queso but everything else was great.
I’ve been a Chuy’s fan since the number of locations was in the single digits. Of course I miss the old quirkiness and larger menu, but I’m willing to take the trade off for the ability to get deluxe tomatillo sauce in Ohio. The Polaris location is typical of the current expansion model - the small menu means that food comes out fast and quality is consistent. I’m not sure if we just have weird timing, but every time we have ever been there we’ve been seated in a dining room where we are the only customers, and the servers are visibly annoyed that they have to make the trip to take our order and deliver our food. Obviously this does not encourage lingering or frequent visits. So consider it a place to get takeout or stop in for a quick taste of Texas and don’t think too hard about the gh
