Ciro Pizza Cafe

I was referred to this place by a colleague of mine when I was looking for the best place to get pizza on the South Shore. As far as I'm concerned, it does not disappoint. If you like a thin crust- absolutely one of the best! I usually get a Sicilian with mushroom and pepperoni pie. Perfect amount of toppings and a delicious crust and sauce.

When we want to have a pizza night and a salad then this is where we head. Hands down the best thin crust pizza. Don't kill it with too many toppings, 1 or 2 tops...I like ½ anchovy and the house salad is crispy dressed just right and the small is good for 3 ppl to share. The dining area is great for for a pizza dinner and it's run very efficiently.

I hate to have to write this review, but I order from Ciro’s at least 2 to 3 times a week. Tonight was a horrible experience. I ordered a pizza at 6:02 and was told 45 minutes. It would be delivered by seven. I was getting annoyed. I called. She said it would be there soon. Now at 7:20. I’m really annoyed. She puts the manager on the phone or owner and he was very arrogant and rude and said we are so busy. I can’t help it and I said then you should’ve told me you were busy earlier when I called and that said 45 minutes. The pizza did not arrive until 740 and it was hot so that tells me that they just sent it out cause there was no way the driver was driving around all of that time with all of those busy orders and the pizza was still hot.. I am leaving a review because this establishment does not deserve these false 1 star reviews. I have been here 3 times and each time has been great and friendly service, and amazing food! The best thin slice vodka slice I’ve had on this island. They also made me a custom Sicilian with clams. Chicken Marsala (which isn’t shown) is the besttt! When Im lazy to food prep, I get one of their entrees and split it into 3-4 days and pair it with a salad.

I know there are many new Pizza restaurants in Staten Island but this place Has them beat. The pie is perfectly cooked thin crust and has 👌 sauce to cheese blend. I l moved to Freehold NJ and have to stop in for a pie when I'm on Staten Island .
