Citarella Prepared Foods

Citarella exists for those who want to eat well but have no desire to spend your time in the Hamptons cooking. Although they sell fantastic fresh vegetables and fruit, and their butcher is extraordinary. The win is definitely the very wide range of prepared meals. Take it to the beach, or take it home. The only thing you have to be prepared to do is stand on a long line.

No longer a fan, each year we participate in a Bicycle Fundraiser "Bike to the End for a Friend" where about 30 people ride from East Islip to Montauk to raise money to help any community member who may be in need. We purchase products when we stop at this point, but their staff does not allow anyone to use the bathrooms. We are directed to use Starbucks, which is across the street of a busy intersection.

Bought tuna salad. It is not a salad, it is tuna in a lot of mayonnaise. No vegetables at all, brand new fast food recipe. Some food is good but some is obviously prepared by inexperienced cook. Disappointment.

There are many choices of things that are pre-prepared and prepped for a variety of meals. I definitely would stop again on my way out to Montauk for something to eat.
