City Barbeque

Decent barbecue place right off of the highway. Fairly standard offerings - pork, brisket, chicken and turkey along with sides (Mac and cheese, corn bread, greens, beans). There are four different sauces and there is also the option to add you own pickles and onions from the condiments area - a nice touch as I like quite a few more pickles than most people. Drink offerings are standard tea, sweet tea, and lemonade along with soft drinks. When we were there towards the end of the night on a Saturday, the teas and lemonade they had let run down to nothing, so not much of an option there. Even being fairly busy with dine in and carry out, our two orders for the table came out in under 10 minutes and the meats met up with the delicious smells in the place.

Cashier was helpful & personable. We ordered the 2 meat sampler and the chicken leg & thigh. Very good. Mac & cheese was my fav for the sides. Looking forward to returning soon.

My husband had the pulled pork and said the flavor was good but it was dry. His Mac & cheese and greens were also dry. I had the pulled chicken and it was tasty. The place could use a good cleaning. The floor was extremely dirty and looked like it hadn’t been swept in a while. Also, it would be nice if there was a better selection of beer offered. The atmosphere is nice aside from it needing cleaned.

Atmosphere is rustic and fits the food! When you walk in, you know youre in for a treat! BBQ smells and tastes amazing! Staff is awesome, courteous and welcoming! Enjoy!

Payton was amazing. She helped me with my order and git me signed up for the rewards. A d to ny surprise before I checked out at tgw register the drew was already calling my name to pick up my order. My food was hot and exactly what I asked for.
