City Barbeque

We had such a great experience at City Barbeque in High Point! Manny was awesome, you can tell he really knows how to manage the place and takes care of his customers. Everything ran smooth and he made sure we were happy with our visit. And Rian!! she’s the best! Her personality is amazing, super friendly and welcoming. She made us feel so comfortable and even helped us order and brought our food to the table. You don’t see that kind of hospitality often anymore! The food was great, but honestly, the service from Rian and Manny made the whole experience 10/10. We’ll definitely be coming back!

City BBQ was the first Bar-B-Que restaurant my boyfriend and I tried upon relocating to North Carolina. We were greeted by Naquita, Aykerquia, Mike who were just AMAZING! The whole crew was friendly and knowledgeable about the smoking process and history of the restaurant. The food was AMAZING as well. We tried the wings, ribs, greens, French fries, coleslaw, baked beans and chocolate cake. Everything was well seasoned and fresh. City BBQ is a definite must try and love in our book, for sure! Even the sauce was delicious 🤤

City BBQ is a keeper! We were greeted so friendly as soon as we walked in the door. After she greeted us, Ryan took our order. She was very patient and talked us through menu items. After getting our food and taking our seat, she checked on us to make sure we didn't run out of drink. She made it a top-notch experience, as this was our first time here. Everything was delicious! This has become our new go-to!

We ordered our food online and arrived around 6:45 pm. While we waited to pick up our food, we noticed four employees came to the parking lot to get ice cream from a food truck in the parking lot. There were maybe 6-8 cars in the parking lot and we noticed two drive-in cars while we waited...and waited...and waited. We received our food around 7:20 pm and we asked why our order took so long. The server stated that they were slammed and backed up in the kitchen. I guess she didn't realize we had been observing from the parking lot. (The cars that were drive-ins received their food within 10 mins of arriving!) Lastly, we purchased a $6 macaroni kids meal and the serving was in what I would call a dressing cup AND, they were out of baked beans. Overall, the food was really good but th

Figured we'd try this place. The food was great and couldn't have asked for anything better. Everything was tender, tasted great, and wanted me to have seconds of everything. However, the service at the High Point location is horrendous. Did an online order today and it was supposed to be ready at 7pm. I got there early and my food was sitting there under the heat lamps. It was slowly getting filled. I was not greeted when I first walked in and had to grab someone behind the counter to get them to help me. They were out of almost all of their desserts except for the cobbler. I had to wait almost 30 minutes before it was ready to pick up. At least the food was good. But I'm not going back due to the crappy service of the evening shift workers.
