City Café

Ordered an omelet, and wow, it came with hash browns, biscuits, and gravy. I had to take it to go it was so much good food for the money. FYI, it's actually Rey's Family Restaurant for a year and a half now, so Google didn't update it. Good coffee too...

The service and food were wonderful. My hubby had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes, corn, roll and a salad. I had the French dip with steak fries. Our waitress was very nice and made sure we were happy with our food and made sure we didn't run out of water. Our entire bill was around $22.00. While other restaurants seem to be raising their prices too high, City Cafe is not! New favorite eating place! 😋

The BEST fried chicken I've had since grandma. You'll have to be patient (25 min.) Fried to order PRIMO delicious I LOVE THIS PLACE❤❤❤🍗🍗🍗

Tons of food. Very ressonable prices. Some of the best Mexican food. I've had in a long time. Large breakfast menu. Not very busy in the evening.

I’m not sure why this location decided to change their classic name from Ziggies. Ziggies was one of my favorite breakfast restaurants to eat at in Springfield. I loved their French toast and breakfast potatoes. The prices were reasonable. The restaurant wasn’t busy. This location had a few Mexican Women working in the kitchen and bussing. As a Mexican American myself, this one of the rare occasions I saw Hispanic people in Springfield.
