City Market Downtown

We loved our visit to City Market. Absolutely adorable! The food was AMAZING! Turkey and Avocado on multigrain, tomato bisque soup, Our new favorite lunch spot when we stay in Rochester.

LOVE this place for a quick lunch. I've been spoiled - they make my favorite salad ever. Staff are great, work hard, and are so personable. Elyse was awesome enough to motivate me to write a review. She not only made my favorite lunch, but turned my day around from "blah" to "things are pretty darn good." And that is before I took a bite! My only critique: The lines. Sometimes the line for sandwiches can be long (because of their quality. taste, and limitations of the physical space - not the fault of the employees). If you aren't familiar, it may be confusing to figure out the salad and sandwich lines are different.

City Market is amazing! The food and staff is great! It's my go-to ordering place for my work lunches. Also Kathleen has always been a great help in everything I call or email about!

Small soup and sandwich joint near the Mayo Clinic. My wife had the Italian and I enjoyed the Cuban and both were delicious. Very fresh ingredients and plenty of meat on each sandwich. Workers are pleasant and efficient, our order was done quickly and correctly. Not a lot of seating room.

We used City Market for catering our event (over 100 people) and Kathleen and her team went above and beyond to accommodate for our event. A special thank you to Paloma, Kathleen and everyone who worked today (on a day off for them!) to help make our event a success.
