City of Brenham - Blue Bell Aquatic Center

Always a good time at Bluebell Aquatic Center. My kids and I prefer to go at 11am and swim in the Olympic size indoor pool. Our skin burns easily so the afternoon hours on the outdoor pool doesn't work for our family. We LOVE inflatable day when they're set up every few months. In October they release hundreds of catfish in the outdoor pool for a fun fishing contest for the kids. Very pleased with the cost, the friendliness of the employees and the pool is well tended to.

We are fortunate to live in a city that will sponsor such an excellent facility. It is outstanding and offers a variety of aqua exercise classes. It is well maintained and the water does not have a bad chlorine smell. Thank you city of Brenham!

Pool is great family spot! Had multiple slides including huge looped water Slide. Life guards, playscape in the kiddie pool, snacks, drinks, food, ice cream. Lots of shaded picnic tables. Playground area. It's cheap and has tons of programs for the kiddos. Hands down the best swimming pool. Oh and the Blue Bell ice cream factory is across the street, you can tour and eat from a variety of your favorite flavors!

The BEST summer activity for young kids! I have a 7yo, 5yo and 2yo and if we lived in Brenham, we'd be getting the summer pass. Do yourself a favor and check this place out immediately. It opens at 12:30 so that gives you time to grab a scoop from Blue Bell across the street and have a quick lunch. They do allow light snacks and drinks inside so don't forget your cooler and ice. My big kids loved their bigger slide. If your child is between 40-48" he/she can do a swim test to be able to do the big slide. Taller than 48" is automatic admission. There are plenty of smaller slides for smaller kids who may need to keep their floaties on. I loved that there was an area for every age. There's also a small, covered playground if they need to get out of the water for a bit. If you have middle sch

$5 admission to enter the outdoor (leisure) pool. The water playground is perfect for kids to have a great summer time. I love the concept of having segregation among kids. There is a tots area where younger kids get to play among friends of the same age. There is also an area for older kids which has a long water slide. After some water fun, kids could head over to a playground for kids 2-12 years old. You can bring your snacks or purchase snacks at a counter in front of the outdoor pool. There are enough tables and chairs, benches, and poolside chairs for kids and adults to chill. Overall this is a nice place to bring kids to. Families will get lotsa fun here.
