City Oyster & Sushi Bar

Delray Sushi & Oyster is always buzzing, which says a lot on its own. It’s a great spot for large groups—plenty of energy, a fun atmosphere, and a menu that works well for sharing. The standout for me was the bao buns—absolutely unreal and worth ordering every time. The sushi is solid and enjoyable, but don’t go in expecting the best sushi you’ve ever had. It’s more about the overall experience, variety, and vibe than chasing perfection. If you’re looking for a lively place in Delray to gather with friends, order a mix of dishes, and enjoy great crowd-pleasers, this spot definitely delivers.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful experience at City Oyster and Sushi Bar. I started with the lobster bisque, and it was absolutely delicious. It’s more of a creamy, smooth soup (as our waitress explained), not packed with chunks—but I did get a few pieces of lobster, and the flavor was incredible. Honestly, one of the best I’ve had. The sushi was amazing—fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully done. My husband ordered the strip steak, and it was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service really stood out too. Our water glasses never went empty, and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. Add in great friends and a really good time, and it made for the perfect night out. We’ll definitely be back! 🍣🥩🍲✨

Stopped by for dinner last week on a spontaneous choice and ended up being really impressed. The sushi was really, really good and fresh, which is not as common as you would think in Florida. They also had one of the best oyster selections I’ve seen in a while. I believe our server’s name was Iryna, and I hope I’m spelling that right. She was super friendly and her recommendations were on point, which made the whole experience even better. I had a really nice time and I’m definitely coming back to try some of the other things she recommended.

Had an amazing experience here! The atmosphere was great lively but still relaxing, perfect for a night out. Our server iryna  was wonderful super friendly, attentive and made great recommendations. I tried the Delray Beach Roll, which had a California roll and was topped with shrimp, lobster, mango and avocado. I usually don’t go for rolls that have mango, but this one completely changed my mind the flavors blended perfectly and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely a must try spot if you’re in the area!

Stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night and the place was packed with good energy. It was a bit loud, but that’s just the crowd everyone seemed to be having a great time. Our server Iryna recommended the crab cake and mussels to start and both were spot on. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. Great service, great atmosphere and we’ll definitely be coming back for those appetizers again!
