Absolutely amazing. Decor and interior design is sub-par, but once you get your food, completely irrelevant! Some of the best food I have ever had! We ordered the Alamo (brisket), cat fish, and burnt ends. Our sides were French fries, waffle fries, sweet potato fries (also waffle), asparagus, side salad, and sin corn. The entres were incredibly! Perfectly cooked. The fries were good. Sweet potato fries were very crispy, like chips almost. The sin corn was great, tasted like cheesy cream corn. Asparagus was thoroughly and tenderly cooked. Prices were great. Our bill came out to $33, then we used a $15 off coupon from local flavor. They also serve a free app of seasoned saltines with olive oil and lettuce, tomato, mozzarella horderve. CJ's offers excellent food and they're catering service is spectacular. They hosted the rehearsal dinner and catering service for our daughters wedding. Just prior to the wedding there was a massive storm that blew through, the staff from CJ's brought out cloths and began helping us clean the rain water from all the chairs. This was not their responsibility but they went above and beyond. If you are in the Murfreesboro area, I would highly recommend stopping there for dinner or should you need catering services they are outstanding.

The pancake breakfast was very Delicious. Our server could have been a little bit better but rather than that this was the excellent place to go the live music/band that was playing was smooth jazzy I really like that.

If you are booking an event and would like to: (a) be provided expert accommodations and recommendations, (b) have complete ease and comfort of mind, and (c) a LOT of laughter, do yourself this favor and book with CJ’s. Not a single person that I spoke with didn’t mention how absolutely incredible the food was and how much they enjoyed all of the little details that CJ’s considers their standard. Cant speak highly of this company enough. Jane in particular is absolutely exceptional. From cheering me on before our wedding ceremony, to working out our menu with great feedback while also allowing us to make the final decisions, to staffing our wedding with the very best. Discover the dining experience not found in most establishments today. This place had quiet ambience of a dinner club, complete with a live performance by a local jazz vocalist with good pipes, covering all the standards. Nicely done! The dinner menu had something for everyone, and our table tried a variety of items including shrimp scampi, blackened salmon and steaks. Salads were crisp and flavorful with fresh greens and sweet tomatoes. Main dishes were prepared properly and delivered hot and steaming. Shrimp was slightly dry, could have more of butter sauce. A very light crowd for a Friday night, but I'm not complaining. Also was refreshing that the place wasn't covered with TV'S everywhere.
