Clare & Don's Beach Shack

I met with the owner David to plan a 40th work anniversary party for my wife. I have never received such specialized care. He and Susan totally designed a menu to our specifications, including filet mignon, fresh fish, fresh pasta, etc. He also reorganized the swamp for seating for 50 people. I met with Misa and Anna a few days before the event and they were in instrumental in making sure the room was decorated properly. With live entertainment and Sergey heading the wait staff the service was impeccable. The food was delicious and the surprise was awesome. I could not be happier. You should give Clare & Don's a chance to do your private party. It will be awesome.

I recently stopped by Clare and Don's for a couple of drinks and some bites to eat. It's been years since my last visit, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how much their outdoor seating area has expanded. The outdoor space is perfect for gathering with friends, especially during one of their fun events like live music or trivia nights. There's plenty of room to bring your dogs, and it's a relaxed spot where kids can run around and play. On a cooler day, it's an ideal place to hang out, unwind, and enjoy the atmosphere. As for the food, the shrimp wasn't *too* easy to peel, but it was still tasty. The fish fingers were a bit bland on their own, but the dipping sauce more than made up for it--it was delicious. We sat outside, drank orange crushes, listened to great live music, and enjoyed delicious food! This place was packed but service was so friendly and prompt. Crab cake was my favorite: so much lump crab and a great price! We will definitely be back soon!

I grew up in Florida and this place nails it! Their authentic beachy atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff create a wonderful happy place for me. The crab cakes were 95% delicious meat and the margarita paired nicely. Fresh key lime pie perfectly concluded my afternoon at the beach.
