Clase Azul Cocina Mexicana

we discovered this place on tiktok and visited on valentine’s day. it is so beautifully decorated. ample parking is directly behind the building. we were sat immediately with water, chips and salsa. our server was very nice and recommended good things from the menu. happy hour drinks were strong and priced good. we ordered the shrimp, chicken, steak fajitas and enchiladas aztec i believe. everything was amazing. food was flavorful and portion size was great. there was a dj playing music toward the end of our visit and the bartender was very entertaining. bill was about $75 fo two adults that each ordered a drink and entree. we are definitely coming back!

Going out on a limb here and saying I think this is by far the best Mexican food I’ve ever had!! (Is that possible? I think so!). The table side guac was fantastic, creamy and fresh (too hungry to capture the before pic!) - and the steak fajitas were absolutely amazing!!! Ridiculous flavors and freshness. If we lived close by, we’d be back all the time! A must try if you’re in Lauderdale, and ask for Yasmin, the service was excellent and efficient.

Date of visit: Jan 5/26: Fantastic place! (Lunch review) Decor was fresh and done well. Lots of dining space, so not too close to other diners. Service and food was prompt, very delicious from their extensive menu. Enchiladas, quesadillas, fajitas, chimichanga. Huge drink list, we tried several, all great. Free parking on site. Will easily go back again for dinner and take more friends.

We were scoping out new places to eat and came across Clase Azul. They opened about 6 months ago and it turned out to be a great choice. We arrived in time for their happy hour and locked in a queso fundido and house margaritas which were part of the HH menu. We shared a trio of street carnitas tacos which were delicious. Yasmin took really good care of us. Highly recommend. They did not have live music tonight, Thursday, but they suggested to return on a night with live music.
