Cliff Lodge Bed & Breakfast

We had a lot of fun staying at Cliff Lodge on Nantucket Island…. Just a short walk up from the downtown area. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny, but the staff was helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was plentiful. The trek to the third floor was difficult, but they did have a man offering help with luggage. We just did it ourselves. Before we left, we climbed up into the attic and took pictures on the widow’s walk on top of the house. That was fun! The view was great. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived to find no one there to give us a room at 8:30pm. Called the attendant from a small card we found in the lobby, left a message and waited. After freaking out not getting a room, we left. Cliff lodge called us back full of apologies and said they would not charge us....and here we are fighting for $259. Guess that's what it cost for a bad review. I will remove this review once I recieve a refund.

Do yourself a favour do not book at this hotel I will be leaving reviews on a regular basis because we tried to cancel this hotel within minutes of booking it because all of the ferries were full We would have no way to get to this lodge. We phoned within minutes, for hours, we left 3 voicemails.. We did not get a phone call back until the next morning at 6:30 AM Alberts , Canada, a full day later. The person that phoned us, pretended to look for a reservation and then proceeded to hang the phone up on us several months into the conversation & didn’t answer the phone when we immediately called back. Great trip to Nantucket and the Cliff Lodge made it feel like home. The location is ideal between the town and beaches. We loved the freshly made daily chocolate chip muffins. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and graciously accepted our small dog as one of its hotel guests. We would definitely return.

Our experience has been great. Great staff and excellent food. The rooms are clean with the bathrooms being exceptionally sanitized. Every amenity in the room you could possibly need.
