Club 19

I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and the food and service were excellent! Hunter was super welcoming and was super nice! The views of the golf course and ocean were beautiful as well. We had the bavarian pretzel, reuben, club sandwich, and chocolate roll cake dessert. Highly recommend the reuben! Presentation and food were all great. They had complimentary valet as well. I rated the atmosphere as 4 stars because a lot of the indoor chairs/furniture were stained and looked very old, and one of the tables that we first sat at was also very wobbly. They should look into upgrading their furniture or replacing it. For a dining establishment at a 5 star hotel, I expected it to be a bit nicer even though it’s more of a casual type restaurant by the golf course.

Service attentive and friendly. Food... at best so-so. Disappointing that there would be cross-contamination with shellfish for the truffle fries, one of the "vegetarian" offerings. The "crudités brought on my request were days old thick sliced cucumber and carrot sticks. The carrot sticks were curved and water logged, and the cucumber pieces were already pocked with dry spots. Some sort of strangely corn-starch-ish white-ish dip called "queso blanco" as an add-on to the guacamole, which itself leaned heavily on diced jalapeno for flavor, and was ... so-so. The chips were flour as opposed to corn, and very very greasy, and they too--I was advised--were subject to cross-contamination with the fried calamari. At those prices maybe a second fryer ? It is definitely a great place to visit for a beautiful beach view and some breakfast or lunch. The food is affordable and extremely high quality and the staff is very professional. Try to call ahead to get a table because it can busy up during the weekend. Will definitely be going again on a weekend to enjoy the environment.

Have attended several fun and delectable events at Club 19 @ The Monarch Beach Resort! The Member events, charitable events and every day dining are enjoyable when you are overlooking the Monarch Beach Golf links and Pacific Ocean! I really love the views, as well as the great use of the inside and outside spaces. Looking forward to another great event real soon!
