Coco Thai

Delicious Thai food on International Drive, Orlando. It was our first time at Coco Thai. I was slightly surprised to see it was busy for a Sunday evening. Coco Thai has a wide variety of vegetarian dishes. We ordered the Tofu Satay & Basil Rolls to start with. For mains, we chose Thai Noodles, Khao Soy, & Pad Se Moi. Our server was very cheerful, & service was prompt. The dishes were indeed delicious, & the portions were generous. The spicy nature of our mains (which we loved) left us wanting to try a dessert. We opted for the Fried Banana with Coconut ice cream. It tasted fabulous👌 Glad we decided to try out this place; I'm sure we'll come again soon!

Sensational! Our first praise goes to our outstanding waiter Anh. She took the time to make recommendations, explain the levels of spice, how coconut milk was utilized in the menu, and Vegan options. All of her recommendations were exceptional. We started with the Curry puffs that was surprising delight and not overwhelming curry. Then for main course we had to plates of Pad See Eu on with chicken and one with Shrimp. Dessert we had the sweet mango rice which was another nice surprise. It was similar to a Spanish rice pudding dessert but with the perfect amount of sweet and tangy. I would recommend this restaurant and its exceptional wait staff.

We weren’t very hungry but wanted to grab a quick bite, so we ordered the chicken satay, spring rolls, and tom yum soup. Everything was delicious and flavorful. We really enjoy this place and end up coming here at least once a month. Definitely a spot we keep coming back to!

Basil fried rice is wonderful! So tasty! This dish was recommended by a friend & it was not on the menu anymore.But if you requested, they will make it. $15 for the fried rice & an additional $3 for the basil. But that is the normal price for the fried rice entrees. Service was great. I place the order via calling and the order was ready early. Thai iced is pre-made but so so amazing. Highly recommend!

Edit: Came back to Coco Thai after 4 months, and it was better than I remember. Even though it was 15 minutes out of the way, the food was more than worth it! We were even able to take advantage of the Tesla charger across the street. Our waiter was also very helpful, explaining how the Pad Thai could come in any flavor, asking us about any allergies before ordering and was always available. As a tip, dipping the hot duck in rice was a great combination. This restaurant is a great location after a long day, with many juicy and traditional Thai dishes. The menu had plenty of pictures to let you choose your dish, which can be fully customized, as I learned through ordering my Pad Thai with beef instead of shrimp.
