Cocorico Chicken

I got the chicken bowl, it was pretty good. I really like the green sauce that came with it, the shrimp tasted good and was fully cooked. It was good overall, I actually got it for takeout, and the good news was that the takeout/work order came on time. This is a big struggle for me with a lot of group recorders, but this one did come on time, so I’m grateful for that. It goes to show that they have at least a pretty good operation behind the scenes. Rice was medium OK.

I really loved the atmosphere at this restaurant! Everything looked very clean and inviting, and the food was delicious! I loved their papas (fries) and i got a nance ice cream popsicle, it was very yummy! I can’t wait to come here again to try out different items on their menu!! 😊😋

The service is good , but the food is flavorless. I ordered the pollo con tajadas but it was drowned in runny sauce, and there was barely any actual chicken. I then ordered a half chicken but it was very bland with no seasoning , the yellow sauce was very sour (needed more mayonnaise)

My experience was Awesome. Ended up getting a whole chicken with fried plantains and the fried rice and a side of red beans and rice with the homemade corn tortillas. Chicken was phenomenal, flavorful and juicy. Recommend the green sauce puts it over the top. 10/10 will recommend and the staff and atmosphere was great as well.

When you drive by this place it just looks like another typical Peruvian chicken place, but if you really go inside and look at their menu it has varieties of plates! And that’s what makes this place special! I love the chicken, I love the empanadas, the beans, the rice, the scrambled eggs with green beans, the pupusas, the fruit drinks, the steak and cheese, the plantains, I’ve practically tried almost everything on their menu. This place is worth trying! One thing I would recommend to make it even better is I wish they would have steak fries instead, they always taste better with the yellow sauce! This will forever be my to go place when I want chicken and extra sides of whatever haha. My husband and kids favorite as well. Did I mention we dine in AND uber eats from here. Yum!
