Code 1 BBQ

I finally found authentic BBQ in my area, Code 1 BBQ is it!!! All the meat so tender, flavored extremely well, and tasty sauces and sides to go with it. Even the collard greens are great. The chicken, pork belly and cornbread were favorites. Can’t wait to visit again!

Quiet for a Saturday lunch time, and they still working on table service, but dont let that deter you. Staff was friendly and food was great! I can't wait to go back for a dinner and overindulde on a 4 meat platter!

I tried Code 1 BBQ today after seeing it on Facebook for months. The food is nothing short of FANTASTIC!! The brisket was juicy and had great bark, the pork belly was crispy and very flavorful, and the chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had. My favorite part though - the beef tallow fries were incredible. If you like BBQ and haven’t tried Code 1 I’d highly recommend stopping in. The food is great and the owners are so friendly. We had a great chat while i waited for food and their story is amazing. Well done Code 1!!

This was the best BBQ I have had north of the Mason-Dixon Line. The beef rib was incredible and the brisket was tasty with great flavor and consistency. Speaking to the pittmaster, he learned the craft in Texas and it shows, done low and slow with no additives. Best BBQ I've had in a while and somewhere that I will definitely be returning

Once you tried their bbq you would never want something else. You would feel they are legit bbq since you walk in their door. You can tell how delicate they are. Brisket is really tender even the flat end part!! Pork belly is unbelievably good with the crispy finish!! The couple owners were there when I dined and they are really nice asking if anything they could help my experience better. We would encourage all our friend to try their place!
