Cold Stone Creamery

Absurdly good ice cream. Cold Stone’s process: Each flavor is churned and mixed with your choice of candy, cakes, fruits, or nuts on a frozen granite stone. Very rich and filling. The large is more than any adult should consume in one day, but delicious. We found this store’s leadership absent and the team working rudderless in a busy Saturday night. We waited for over 20 minutes for our order. It was well made and fresh, but we will definitely return at a less busy time. Additionally, the facility looked like it needed a deep cleaning front of house and back.

I’ve been coming here since this location opened in the early 2000’s and I can’t recall ever having a bad experience here. I believe the location has gone through a few different owners over the years, but from a service and product perspective I’ve never noticed any difference. The staff have always been pleasant and helpful when customers have questions. Like most cold stones, there isn’t a tone of seating, but they typically package the ice cream to go to make it simple enough to take with you.

I came in for a milkshake at the coldstone on chapel hill rd and was told the blender was down not sure how true that was, the customer service by a guy with curly hair and glass was rude and careless and had a obnoxious attitude tone while assisting me. His attitude made this experience especially disappointing.

Guy working there on Oct 7 at 555pm not friendly at all. Didn't even speak just looked at us. After we looked at the ice cream for a second he asked if we were ready. Definitely not the normal Cold stone service. Hiram is better.

Came in on 08/05, Tuesday, customer service wasn’t as friendly, but we tried again today 08/07/25, Thursday at 9ish and the staff was marvelous! we were welcomed by a young lady with blue hair, so kind and we ordered with a beautiful purple and pink hair who made our ice cream, she was so nice!! and then checked out with a straight dark hair guy, he was so kind. 10/10 customer service and we bought four ice creams for like 20 bucks!! the three of them were amazing and funny!
