Colibri Grill Cafe

Came here 7 years ago and I still think about their eggs benedict, so since I was back in the area we had to stop by and get some. The spice in the hollandaise sauce really takes it to the next level. It was great then and it's still great now!

Santa Rosa was having the "Rose Parade" earlier in the day, so I was lucky and it was not busy when I stopped for dinner. I got to chat with the friendly Waiter and learned that my excellent salad had been prepared when it was requested, which was why it was BEAUTIFUL and crisp and without a single brown edge or whilted leaf. There wasn't a bite that was bitter. Both the greens and dressing tasted great. I had no croutons on my salad, due to a cheese allergy and excessive caution. My entrée was also freshly prepared and the vegtables were so good I could gave eaten a whole plate of just veggies. The Waiter said that the veggies were not cooked in advance, but done when ordered . . .and you could tell. Each vegtable had its own unique flavor, sautéed in garlic butter, instead of just tastin

I have a sweet tooth and I absolutely loved their coffee pear chocolate chip pancake. Overall the food and service was good. They were accommodative of our spl requests. Will definitely go back for brunch again.

02/04/24 - probably wouldn't return to eat here again. Eggs benedict had far too much lemon in the hollandaise sauce. The country potatoes were good. My friends meal was not good, eggs/bacon could've been cooked better and been more flavorful. The sourdough toast was the incorrect order but was straight-up soggy. FYI no oat milk here, they have cows, almond, and soy. Previous review - I really enjoyed eating here and they had fair prices. I will most definitely come back to try some of their other dishes. The reason I gave 4 stars was because the eggs benedict and home fries could be better, though they were still satisfying. The Chai latte was delicious. Very friendly staff and lovely ambiance, I felt very relaxed being here.

Colibri has an overwhelming amount of options, but it’s a rare gem because everything I’ve tried on their menu has been wonderful! Also very nice staff. We mostly go for brunch, but their lunch options are very good too… especially the burgers!
