Compass Bar and Grill

Another great addition to Lake Placid (Florida). Friendly staff and good home cooked foods, good presentation and plenty of drinks & variety of foods to choose from. Big portions in my opinion. Come in, sit back, watch the game at the bar or table & enjoy the friendly conversation.

We both had the smokehouse burger with fries and some wings with mild buffalo sauce. Everything was delicious. Wings could use a little more sauce, not meaning to the point it's swimming in it. Waitress was attentive. Would definitely come back.

We stopped in for breakfast and we got amazing service! Riley who was on her third day was great! The food was cooked to perfection. We’ll definitely be back.

Late lunch and the food was great!Had to try a Cuban sandwich which was made just like it should be.. even the pickle. My wife had a excellent BLT with crispy Bacon which came with CRISPY fries.. and I opted out of fries for coleslaw.. which is very creamy. Overall great spot for a drink and a good meal!

Both had meat lovers omelets + onions & peppers additional cost of $2., no potatoes or grits, no toast, side of sausage gravy $3.95, just water. $39.00 seems kind of high. Omelets were very good looked very small on large platter without sides (our request/not eating carbs). When not getting 1 /2 the selection by request maybe not charge for onion & peppers? Again omelet was great but going to try somewhere else
