Connecticut Department of Public Health

I honestly do not understand why they always have an attitude and just not willing to share licensing information in a more direct way. They just tell you to find information on their website. Of course but I have some questions after viewing your website. Do they never have questions their entire life? Do they just go visit a website and be silent in their day to day life? You can really see the ugliness of humanity in this department.

Seems to me that the Health Department doesn’t want to have nothing to do with the Trinity Health Care. I called many times to bring to the attention the neglected patients at the Trinity Health Care Center located at Hartford CT on 151 Hillside Ave in Hartford but seems to me like the person doesn’t care to be bother at all.

I applied for the Connecticut nail tech license after completing a nail tech course in New York State more than two months ago. Connecticut State doesn’t require any exams to obtain a nail tech license according their website. I called the few times and a lady told me I can only email. I emailed many times but no response at all. Meanwhile they come out and inspect the salons. That’s not fair. I need this license to survive!

I applied for my tattoo technician license in February. I paid the full processing fee and since then I have had to resubmit all my certifications four separate times because they “misplaced” them. I would not have even known if I did not continuously follow up with them. Every time I reached out, they passed the buck to the next the person who can’t be reached. They’re extremely unprofessional and just flat out do nothing but collect a paycheck. They are state run so they get away with it. Their complete disregard and complacency to people paying for their service and bringing revenue to the state, would cause any other business to close without government funding. I was hurt by a dentist and I have been trying to call the Department of Health to put in a complaint for three days right now as I write this have been on the phone waiting to speak to someone for one hour 30 minutes and 35 seconds and I’m still waiting. I feel that this department needs to better . Like, where is the oversight? They are supposed to be working for the public. Our taxes is what paid them their salaries, This is just ridiculous
