I visited back in October 2025 for lunch. I sat at the bar and the place was fairly quiet. The food was good and the service.

As always steak tips were very good. Tender and full of flavor. I do miss getting "warm" dinner rolls before the order came in. The last two times I had to ask for bread rolls and when we got them they were cold and dry. Maybe old or they were not thawed..couldn't even spread the butter on them. Our server was good.

So I realized that I hadn't reviewed this place when I went there 10 years ago so I did so now (lots of good places to go in Norwood and this one is on the pricier side) When I went 10 years ago the steak tips were the best I've ever had, now they were just good. Everyone loved their dishes especially the clam chowder, however the fried pickles or the spinach artichoke dish weren't perfect. They were good, just not ones where I would say to someone you have to get them. Nice quiet atmosphere, plenty of parking with their own lot and a separate room for functions. Service was great and brought me a refill without having to call the waitress over and even remembered no ice I ask for which at many places is just ignored. late Saturday night visit. Great waitress, very pheasant staff. perfect dark chocolate lava cake! very accommodating with seating choice as well. The salmon dinner was excellent and the salmon bowl looked really good across from me. both highly recommended. it was a really good experience all around.

The past few years the food has really gone downhill. I recently got a burger that was burnt around the edges and I don't think it weighed 3 oz total. The fries were soggy and not cooked. The wait staff is great and always friendly. Mostly young kids but a few more mature as well and all are good.
