Constantino’s Pizza & Ice Cream

We ordered a Margherita large pizza 11/25/24, and to be honest the pizza looks more like a medium size and doesn't even have basil let along there is small gaps in the tomato sauce! flavor was ok. We always used to enjoy eating at Constantino pizza and Ice cream, when they opened years ago, it was really good and fair on the prices. But now we are a little spectacle about the quality and service of this place!

Just picked up my order, 11/17/23@1835. I live up the street and had the order home in 5 minutes, still hot. The BBQ wings were good, the beef pattie with cheese was also good( hard to screw that up ). The chicken Parm wedge with eggplant was truly tasteless, if there was a teaspoon of marinara sauce on the entire wedge that was a lot, meaning it was barely visible. This is my second time ordering, the first was when they first opened, not very good at all, the chicken scarpariello was extremely salty, I asked for extra garlic, just got a few razor thin slivers, and the portion was so small I could see the bottom of the to go container. Today was my Son’s Domenic’s birthday! We went to Port Chester to a Trampoline park. When we finished the 90 minute jump session, we were all hungry. We drove around Port chester to two different pizza places. One was freezing cold and the other didn’t work out either. We kept driving and I’m glad we did, we ran into Connecticut and there it was. Constantino’s pizza and ice cream. First of all the place has parking, the restaurant was very clean, and the staff were amazing. From the gentleman who took our order standing in front of the ovens, to the young lady server who helped us with our food and ice creams, to the gentleman walking around making sure everything was ok. I had a wonderful experience ordering on Grubhub. The marg pizza and the bruschetta is unreal. They put so much mozz on the za and you get tons of bruschetta! This will be my local favorite very easily.

If I could rate this place zero stars I actually would. It’s sad because they did a huge opening and had a really cool pizza party banner out front and unfortunately the pizza is trash. I ordered a 4 corner Sicilian pizza that was all pepperoni and half sausage. The sausage wasn’t even cooked. Pepperoni wasn’t even toasted. The cheese fell right off probably because it wasn’t really melted. See picture. The sauce was super bland. And I can’t stress this enough, the dough was hard as a rock. If I threw this pie at a car window, I’d be able to break in. What’s more is that the edges of the pie itself was so hard and almost charred yet the toppings weren’t at all. Save your hard earned money and grab a Sicilian pie at Sals in Mamaroneck or Pizza Hut in Scarsdale. So disappointed.
