Cook Out

Came to get a milkshake and could barely hear the person over the speaker which is totally fine. Honestly a funny inside joke with us North Carolina ppl ◡̈ but then I get my milkshake. It’s basically water and the cup is small compared to the normal sized cup. The shake tasted awful and after two bites I could not finish it. Not to mention the girl working is probably the rudest person there. Usually I don’t have these issues but I’m irritated.

Service was a bit shower than we would have liked considering we were one of two cars that was in the drive through. The employees at the time didn't have much of a welcoming personality but food was hot and quite tasty. Not too bad.

I was in the cookout drive thru today, February 22, 2026. While I was in the drive thru I ordered about 5 milkshakes and food. Like a normal customer would. I get to the drive thru window, and this young lady I believed to be named zhaniyah. She asked me if my order was okay, and I said no, because it in fact was wrong. She proceeded to slam the window in my face. She Then sent 2 people right after me to help, came back and still gave me the wrong stuff, which I did not order. Shortly after this proper young lady come to help me and serves me the food accordingly. Awful, service. This cookout needs better service. They need to do better. Can’t believe they would hire people like this.

I would give service a 4 but at checkout the lady asked if I ordered corn dogs, as the speaker was very static. We ordered chili cheese fries but only got cheese fries, but again the box at the menu needs service. Great shakes, corn dogs on point and kiddo still at the cheese fries. Cookout ... Do better by your staff to help them help you. JMO

I stopped by Cook Out today to grab lunch for my kids, who are home from college (Order 2030). Unfortunately, the service was extremely poor and reflected poorly on the restaurant’s management. At the drive-thru window, the cashier told me the system was down and asked me to wait. After an extended wait with no updates, I drove around and saw the same cashier actively preparing my order. When I asked why he hadn’t let me know the system was working again, I received no response. When I finally received my food, part of my order was missing. I waited at the window for assistance, then honked after no one came. I honked again and heard “I hear you!" Eventually, a bag was tossed out the window toward me, and the employee walked away again.
