Cook Out

Cookout is always one of my favorite fast food picks. The shakes are always great. The service is hit and miss though. I went the other day and my order was lost and they didn't know where it went. I took my receipt to the counter and asked about it after 15 minutes, the cashier asked what I got and when I ordered it (they were literally the person that rang me up and acted like I was trying to sneak free food). She took my receipt and went to the back and never brought my receipt back. She then walked past me without any acknowledgement of what was going on and started taking another person. So I stood there still until someone else came and asked what I needed. I explained to them what had happened, and they said Oh it's right here (on the other side of the wall from the counter). Samantha took our order and met us at the window. She was so patient with us, we have never been there before, it was nearly closing time and she managed to have such a wonderful vibe. Is she a magician? Is she a MasterChef? Is she some sort of cookout genie? A magical wizard who makes sure hungry couples don’t go to bed hungry? We will never know. Treasure and protect Samantha at all costs. The food was super yummy. I mean it’s not special, it’s just a fun take on fast food. We had a feast for less than 25 bucks. We are from Maine and we are grateful for your late night food. Thanks everybody. Good enough to review same night

Check your food before you leave the drive through. Saturday, Jan 3, 1845. Ordered a BBQ tray with hush puppies and cheese bites. When going to eat the food it was discovered I had a BBQ sandwich with no BBQ, 4 little chicken tenders instead of hush puppies, and 5 measly cheese bites. I feel like they didn't even make an order, they just have he what they had left over from previous orders. I would be embarrassed to serve this food to anyone that paid. This will be the last time we go there. Absolutely not worth the price or the effort. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. The staff are too busy on their phones to be bothered to get your order correct. We really love their cheese bites, but what they served us was an insult.

Food is decent. Service is fast. Proportions sizes are not the best. 3 dollars will get you 4 or 5 onion rings

Staff showed off my credit card to the employees in the back when I ordered here. When I got my sauce packet - it was already open and unfortunately spilled cookout sauce on my brand new cars seats… Had 3 white cheddar bites total in my bag and a burger that left me confused - I don’t think jalapeños are usually cut this way but aight. Thanks for being open late though.
