Cook Out

Visited from out of state and was a little disappointed. The food to price ratio is fair, but the portions are small, both for the sides and for the burger. The staff was nice and the sweet tea was good too.

Being from Memphis I would have never expected to eat a pulled pork barbecue sandwich from a fast food restaurant. However, other family members told me how good it was & they were not wrong! It was absolutely delicious (they even put slaw on the sandwich!) I will never order any other sandwich from Cook Out again EXCEPT the barbecue! Of course, all the other food was delicious as well as promptly and correctly made! Employees are always friendly & help to make the visit an all-around great experience!

Food is good if they get your order right, but fried items taste like old grease. Service is very bad here from my 2 experiences. Wouldn't return. Once it a mistake, twice is telling me that's a common occurrence and allowable there.

I love cookouts! HOWEVER.. This one made me think twice. It has a very confusing 2 lane setup. If you choose the right lane, after you order, you wait till there room to make a left turn and go to a window on the end of the building. This isn't is not good for pickups or large SUVs. The parking lot was trashed, the girl taking the order was talking unintelligibly fast and kept cutting me off while I was ordering which got confusing. At the window, she have have me too many drinks. When I asked to make sure she had the right order cause I didn't want to handle someone else's food, she shoved the food out and asked "well are you missing anything?" Like I could see they the bag. Surprisingly the order was only missing a few item on a burger but it was sloppy and subpar to the quality of othe

So let me tell y'all this place right here has got to be the best I've ever encountered every night I go there and get the same thing chicken plate with Cajun fries and hush puppies The girl was taking my order and I guess she had to have had a good night because I did too I was asking for the sauce and I accidentally said parmesan and she left hysterically and so did I because we both knew what I was asking for so instead I told her I said let me come to the window and I said I can tell you what I was looking for and I told her I was needing the Polynesian sauce but we both ended up having such a good laugh and a good night after it she was not trying to give me a hard time about what I was looking for so I appreciate her for that plus cookout has the best chicken fingers ever and I love
