My 1st time trying “COOK OUT” and was disappointed! The hamburger arrived with squished bun and was messy due to the cheez whiz that was oozing out of the bun. Sandwich was small and the “combo” with my two sides of (1) petit onion rings (2) and cole slaw was underwhelming. The only bright side was the unsweetened ice tea - which was adequate. All in all I wasted $9.72 on food that was mediocre at best!
I've never been to a cook out before. It seems to be a NC "must try" it just opened in North Raleigh off of Strickland rd. It's open bright and clean. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Cook out had a lot of burger style menu choices. Work lots of unique side items. (Corn dog) They also have unique shakes. This day it was watermelon.. The burgers are large and cooked/made to order (think five guys) but unlike that place this place is INEXPENSIVE. A cheeseburger, two sides and a large drink ~$8.50. When's the last time you are at the other place for twice this price. Highly recommend
Our first time eating at a CO and we were very pleased with our experience. The staff was very friendly (a wonderful woman even said good bye as we left!) Good value for price. The lobby was very clean. We will be back!
I been here at least 5 are more times since this location opened. Tonight, I was not happy with me and my husband meals. One thing the fries are too salty also the burgers. Our onions rings were cold once we bit into them. The sprite soda is terrible also. If I hadn't got all the way home, I would have bought these two meals right back.
I’ve updated this review from 1 star to four stars. Since my first visit I’ve taken the kids here for milkshakes at the same time with no issues. We’re across the street every week with music lessons. All subsequent visits have been great, no issues with being open, good service in the drive through, overall happy they’re here now. I get that the first week was probably rough going and seems like they’ve kept their promises ever since. Will be back! —— First review vvv We went during the grand opening (signs still out front say “now open”) on Thursday at 8:00. Big signs on the windows say OPEN LATE till 9:00. I tired the drive through and it was blocked with a cone. Walked up to the front doors with my kids to get some milk shakes and the doors were locked. The worker inside opened
