A late review, but our family stayed here in August for a series of appointments at Boston Children's for our child. The house is gorgeous and the room was incredibly comfortable. We did get a room with a private bathroom. Breakfast was pastries and bagels, easy to grab and go. Lots of shopping and excellent dining nearby, T stops, and a very easy 20 minute walk to BCH. Check in and check out were a breeze. We felt very safe in the area. We will definitely stay again in the future! Be aware the inside stairs are steep, but it's to be expected with the historical nature of the house.

Coolidge Corner Guest House is a lovely change from big hotels. The rooms are small but homey. The location was great, in a cute neighborhood. It is good to be aware, though, that there are some steep stairways, no elevator. It is an older house! The earplugs left for us on the end tables were a bit concerning. It was easy to hear people in the hallway, but the guests were all considerate and there was no noise at night - earplugs not needed. The breakfast was more than enough, including bagels, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries, coffee and tea. In the dining room we met some other travelers and the living room was a comfortable place to spend a bit of time outside of our bedroom. We had a room with a private bath, but not all the rooms do, so be aware of what you are reservi

We loved this charming Inn. It was filled with New England charm and was in one of the best areas of Boston. The room was perfect for one night. All instructions were so clear that those who worked there were very nice and gave the place the right energy. The breakfast was great. The price was right for the times. Today, everyone seems so greedy. They had a fair price! The only drawback was having to share the bathroom with so many people. It was very clean and everyone embraced quiet after hours. We loved our stay in Boston, and we plan to come back before our flight and stay here again in two weeks. If you like a place with character, this is for you.

Quaint house in Brookline. Wonderful to visit with other travels and those staying in the B&B. Good spread for breakfast. Walls are thin but earplugs were provided. The shared bathroom wasn’t a problem: clean, tidy, and stocked with toiletries. Had some difficulty getting into my room. The key worked but the door wouldn’t open. I called the owner and Shawn arrived in a few minutes and fixed the problem. Great location for access to Boston sights.

I was disappointed with this experience. It basically brought me back to my college days traveling abroad and staying at hostels. Our room was ok in appearance but I was shocked that we had to share the bathroom down the hall with the entire floor. No water in the room or drinking water. It was stated that the room had ac but our room had a small night stand plug-in unit the size of a coffee maker that made a lot of noise and smelled but didn’t cool so we turned it off. Ear plugs are provided which I used because the office/ living room is literally on the other side of a blocked off door separating the two rooms. The cleaning ladies and guests hanging out in there early were talking all morning which sounded like it was in our room so I was forced to get up early. I didn’t sleep but 2 hou
