Been eating here for a while. If you order the chicken fajita omelette, ensure that you’re hungry. The best omelette on the planet. They also make fantastic chicken tenders and great onion rings.

Today as we drove to Pomeroy, we stopped for a lunch at the Cool Spot. I used to stop there frequently when I traveled between Parkersburg and Athens. We were not disappointed!! The service was excellent, prompt and curtious. The server was pleasant and seemed to really enjoy her job. She presented the two specials for the day, and our group all decided on the bacon hamburger. It was one of the best burgers we've had. My wife and I had their fries, and the other couple had onion rings. We all agreed they were something special. Our drinks were refilled, and we were sent on our way with large to go drinks, too. This is a small establishment on Rte 7, and I bet they get a lot of their revenue from the gas station side of the business, but the dinner was steady in business and worth the sho

Fast, friendly, and HUGE portions. There's easy in/out truck parking as well as truck fuel islands. I got a very well-made turkey/bacon/swiss club and a massive side of potato wedges for $11. You can't beat that these days! You can order to-go or eat in their large dining area attached to the convenient store.

Cute little dinner, inside a gas station. Very pretty wood paneling. I think the Amish helped. It's beautiful! Food was good, friend stated best bologna sandwich he'd ever had. Server want a little sharp for being in small town. Normally much friendly. But not rude by any means. Great place to fuel up the tank and the bellies!

Okay service. Waitress never checked back for refills or check on us. Do NOT order the Mac n cheese, it barely has any taste. Everything else we had was good.
