Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que

If you're in Llano, you have to stop at Cooper's Old Time Pit BBQ. I recently had an incredible meal there that hit all the right notes: • The Brisket: Perfectly cooked and flavorful. • The Sides: The potato salad was the ideal pairing for the meat. • The Dessert: You cannot leave without trying the peach cobbler—it’s the perfect sweet finish to a Texas BBQ feast. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was top-notch. It’s a 5-star experience all the way!

Been awhile since my last visit, but still very good. The sausage was tough and a little dried out. The Ribs and brisket were very tasty. Been, nothing special, taters were good. BBQ sauce was a disappointment, too much vinegar for my taste buds. Just grab a picnic table and start eating 😋

If you are here for the pork ribs, It wasn’t the best. Sort of dry and not much flavor. The pork chops were juicy and tender. With an amazing flavor. The coleslaw was good. Friendly staff, quick service.

Best dam BBQ I’ve EVER ATE !!! Very tender , was trucking thru this town and seen I could park my semi on a side street , boy Was I amazed at how tender and flavorful the BBQ was. The smokers they use are big big and lots of them . Awesome People !!!

First time here and it was Very good, meat was cooked just right and not dry at all! Pretty cool inside area and cool to look at the pits - everything was delicious and green beans were tasty with the onions and bacon cooked into it (that’s how I cook them at home) Must try for sure if you haven’t !!
