Catty corner from Elmhurst Hospital Complex, two blocks from Roosevelt 74 Transport Center. 24/7 never closes- a huge convenience because three years post-Covid most businesses still close early. Has existed at least 50 years, personnel always courteous. Prices are not usurious, small surcharge when not paying in cash (smaller than at other places), some snack & ice cream packs are open & sold singly. Typical deli regular & halal / bodega / lottery that's not spacious enough for seating, only for a very small window counter where you can snack or mark your lottery tix. Re Häagen-Dazs freezer: like many delis- only ice cream / no sorbet. Probably ice cream keeps longer & its consistency survives temperature swings / cold extremes better- if I had to guess. never buy a sandwich here I moved to Jackson heights I found this deli but the sandwiches are of poor quality I ordered 2 baccan eggs cheese before I left I opened the sandwiches the baccon was raw hotris burned I claimed it they are Mexicans those who work there are rude I will never return when someone asks me Question I say donking donuts better this dele is old food expired poor quality

Spanish guy making sandwiches can’t follow simple instructions, on top of how slow he moves. No sense of urgency. And still can’t get a basic order right. He’d rather play on his phone than attempt to make more than 1 egg sandwich at a time, and still get it wrong haha
