Coromandel Cuisine of India

Originally, I was going to leave because the ambience is not the aesthetics I typically go for. However, I am glad I stayed. The food was absolutely delicious. The lunch special is also a reasonably priced especially for New Rochelle. The owner took his time to answer all of our questions and explain what the different items were on the menu.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Coromandel! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced every dish tasted authentic and well prepared. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. A special shout-out to George for his exceptional customer service! He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to see someone take so much pride in making guests feel valued. Highly recommend Coromandel if you’re looking for delicious Indian and Asian fusion cuisine with top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back!

Chicken Tikka Masala was under cooked. Chicken was not cooked in a traditional tandoori style with the nice red flavor and color. Never in my life have I had chicken Tikka Masala like this. Terrible.

This Indian restaurant is hands down the best that I've ever been to. The Korma is absolutely incredible. The bread is fresh baked and delicious. Everything that I have tried is above Excellent. Please be advised that they had moved to a smaller location because of covid.

I have eaten in a LOT of Indian restaurants in New York City, Boston, London and elsewhere. This is the one I think about most. It is first of all a lovely space. The food is delicious, and unusual among restaurants I’ve been to, it includes many regional specialties from different parts of India, and identifies them on the menu. It is well worth adding to your list of restaurants to visit, and to visit frequently
