Corona Public Library

I truly appreciate having a local library in our community. They offer a variety of programs, including storytimes for different age groups, which is wonderful to see. However, I wanted to share an experience in hopes that it might encourage more inclusive practices. When my son was 5, I brought him to the preschool storytime. We were told that the program was only for children who could sit in their spot for the duration. Because my son has special needs and cannot always sit for long periods, we were advised to attend the baby/toddler storytime instead. While I understand the desire for structure, it was heartbreaking that he couldn’t participate with other children his own age. Library day is always a good experience here. The space is clean, the customer service is great, and everyone is welcoming and helpful. If you’re ever having trouble finding something, just ask staff are happy to help. The computers are really great, well maintained, and easy to use, and printing is affordable, which makes a big difference if you need to get things done without spending much money. Getting a library card is free, and you can check out books, movies, and even great games to take home for a set period and return on time. They also offer many other resources and services at no cost just ask and you’ll be surprised what’s available. The more people use the library, get cards, and spend time getting things done here, the more support and funding libraries receive. It’s a valuab

This is a wonderful library with great support for studying, such as American computers, printers and study rooms. They have a great kids' space that is decorated very cute. I was surprised at all the activities they have to engage kids and help educate adults. My daughter and grand kids had a great time and can't wait to go back.

I love coming here with my kids. The staff is very helpful. They have great selection of books in the kids section, and teen section. They have study rooms available and they have a passport center which I think is closed since the pandemic. They used to have story time before the pandemic for younger kids. They have computers to use for younger kids as well. Before the pandemic they had a little play area for toddlers by in the kids book section.

Actually an amazing library. The lemons in the kids section formed me forever when I was a child human being. INCREDIBLE used book store. Literally found the most beautiful copies of East of Eden and shakespeare’s sonnets for $2 each. Great fish tanks. What more could you ask for?
