Cotton at Riverside Mill

This isn’t my first time here but my first time reviewing. My parents lived in Chatham for some years so this was a usual dinner spot when I visited. We were in town for the race in Martinsville and I suggested it for my birthday. My husband made reservations for 8 PM. It was pretty empty. The nicest the hostess was the entire time was when we left. When she screamed, have a good night. It was very thank god you are leaving. I ordered an old fashioned and my husband got a beer. We ordered crab dip and hushpuppies for an appetizers. Then both got ribeyes. All of them arrived at the same time. We did notice the apps sat on the expo line for a long time. For a finer dining establishment, I would hope timing would be considered…but the entire time I just felt like they wanted to get us in a

We actually found this restaurant by accident. We were looking for another one that apparently went out of business. This place was absolutely amazing. Our waitress Linda was fantastic. She made the night. Food was outstanding. We highly recommend this place.

Had such a lovely dinner here! The crab dip was rich and flavorful, the stuffed flounder was cooked just right, and the key lime pie? Wow — tart, creamy, and the perfect ending to the meal. Our waitress was excellent — friendly, helpful, and super attentive. You can tell the staff really cares about making sure you have a good experience. The space itself is gorgeous, cozy yet elegant, and makes the whole evening feel a little special. We left already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for a place with amazing seafood, great desserts, and top-notch service, this is definitely it.

They had great food and the atmosphere was cool too. They were under staffed when we were there causing really long waits but overall it was really good.

Good dinner. Both my wife and enjoyed our meal. The stuffed flounder was very good. Mashed potatoes lacked seasoning and were not to temp. Overall, I would try it again
