Counter Culture Beachside

I recently started eating healthier, and while driving through Vero Beach, I looked up vegan options. Counter Culture Beachside came up at the top of the list, so we decided to check it out. I’m so glad we did! Everything about this place was excellent—the atmosphere, the food, and the service. We had the pleasure of meeting Lisa and Anthony, who are not only talented chefs but also really warm and friendly people. We ordered the "Go Italiano" and the "Floridian Noodle Bowl", along with the "Hibiscus Berry Iced Tea". The food was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Had an absolutely incredible experience at the new beachside location today!! The menu is fresh and new and let me tell you, DELICIOUS! There are normal options and plant-based options. As a vegan in Vero, it’s difficult to find quality meals that make me want to go back and that blow my mind. The white veggie pizza we got was made plant-based and the cheese/ricotta really tricked me I had to ask the chef if it was really dairy-free. The taste was on par with real mozzarella and I can’t get over it. They put so much thought into the recipe for this and I appreciate it so much. From now on this is the only way I’m eating pizza. The food was good. I ordered a simple Poké bowl and weigh a 25 minutes for it when I ask people why it was taking so long they said it wasn’t fast food. I’ve ordered many poke bowls. They don’t take 25 minutes.

My husband and I picked up lunch to take to the beach. It was our first time trying Counter Culture. The staff was super friendly. The Pollo Damiano was delicious as was the Beachside Salad + Salmon. Definitely plan on returning!

It’s small but very comfortable! Lisa was very helpful with our Granny in wheelchair. She answered all our questions about the menu. The chicken salad on cranberry bread was the best we ever had! Next time, we are going to have her homemade desserts!
