Country Cow Deli

Very delicious. As someone who lived in NYC for sometime, I miss getting a BEC that actually is good. This definitely met my hopes for that. They had a variety of options! Only thing is I didn’t know they butter the bagels when they toast them, which is my fault, but it was still delicious. Just ensure to bring cash as it is a cash only!

Ordered egg sandwiches! Good NY style deli food very FAST service polite staff. Little tips for most! Cash only make sure to have cash as they will not accept plastic. They do butter and grill all their rolls and bagels and subs for their breakfast sandwiches so if you don’t want that make sure to specify this! Great find on Google Maps when working out of town. Rueben sandwich was excellent. Macaroni salad fresh and tasty. French fries were also good. The service was excellent- friendly, caring and helpful. Would have liked a window counter stool to sit and eat so had to eat in my car. Definitely worth you trying this Deli! Thank you Country Cow.

I was just passing through Fairfield on a job, needed lunch, these guys were the first place that caught my eye. Gotta love a local deli. I just got a basic BLT since it's my first time here, and for such a simple sandwich, it was really good! The people were super friendly, and the food is very reasonably priced. Good stuff :)

We had been on the road for 8 hours and desperately needed a quick bite but there arent many obvious places to stop on 15. We jumped off for gas and drove by Country Cow Deli. Even though they were getting ready to close up, they kindly made us two sandwiches. The grinders were huge, the bread was fresh, and the sandwiches were fantastic. The staff was really nice to help us out even though they were trying to close up. Next time we pass through CT we'll stop in again, long before closing time!
