Country Heroes

Super nice staff at country heroes. My first time there and they didn’t rush me to make a decision, and gave lots of good recommendations. I like the godmother sandwich and they are kind enough to do the Italian with the dressing on the side so you can take it to the beach without it being soggy. Watch out for the seagulls because they can smell a great sandwich and were hovering near me wanting a bite!

Stumbled upon this place when doing a little day trip out east. Really solid spot! The menu was extensive and we ended up getting 3 sandwiches for the two of us (1 full, two halves and still had leftovers). We got the Tony Soprano, the Hurricane, and the Meadowlands. Out of all 3, our favorite was the Hurricane because of how flavorful it was. Our only critique would be that the Tony Soprano needs a good sauce on it. The prices were really reasonable and the staff was super friendly! Would definitely come here again and try more of their menu.

Country Zeros more like it. This place sucks. Out of all the sandwich places in Westhampton Beach this has got to be the worst of them all. I’ve tried a couple of hero’s from them and a few egg sandwiches before writing this review. I can tell you they are both very bad. The bread is stacked on the floor next to the kitchen which is probably a health code violation. If I noticed that sooner I would have not returned .

stopped for a quick lunch with my 2 and 5 year old and immediately felt like we were at a family members house. I ordered a turkey and cheese sandwich for my kids to share and it came cut perfectly to share on two plates, AND they even came out to ask us crust or no crust. My son was thrilled. He said “this is a killer grilled cheese.” So great to have a casual lunch spot in the area where kids are welcome. And prices affordable too! A longtime favorite of ours, thank you Country Heroes!
