Country Living Bed and Breakfast

Conveniently located on a beautiful parcel of land nestled up to Mead's Creek. Rooms were very clean with some very nice pieces of furniture. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in away from home and I spent a few days on the road during my 35 year airline career. First floor has breakfast area, seating and a small bar + TV. Al could not have been more friendly and accommodating. What a find - already booked for next year.

As we prepared to leave for this stay a household disaster struck. I contacted host Al that we would arrive late ad he immediately offered to make whatever accommodations we might need, including rescheduling. In the end we arrived late and stressed. Al was relaxed and made us welcome.||||The public space is not fancy. I would believe it was designed for Al's ow pleasure because it is comfortable nd relaxed. Our room was likewise homey and comfortable, while still being very clean ad filled with all the amenities, including an HTMI cable in case we wanted to connect a device to the TV!||||Breakfast was on our own back downstairs in the public room / well-stocked kitchen / dining area. Found this place on Air BnB when looking for a place close to the Corning Museum of Glass. This place is very close to the highway but also quiet which was wonderful. The hosts were very nice. This place was incredibly clean, our room was nice and comfortable with the AC taking the heat & humidity out and did I mention it was so, so clean? They have a mini-fridge and a microwave in the rooms which was a nice feature because I got a lot of leftovers from local restaurants. The hosts provide light breakfast items like mini-muffins, granola bars, boiled eggs, coffee & juice. There is also lots of bottled water. We didn't explore the grounds but they looked very well kept and relaxing. Definitely would recommend.

This was AMAZING!! This gem is less than a mile from our new home! The owners, Al and Cathy were beyond hospitable!! After explaining that we have been doing these getaways ever other month since we were married but I didn't want to travel far from home being nearly 38 weeks pregnant they took such good care of us! They went out and got us a fresh flower bouquet to take home, a bowl of chocolates, and a lovely hand written card! Their beautiful property backs right up to Meads Creek, it's peaceful, serene, and was exactly what we needed to recharge this weekend!

Mr. Al was very welcoming and went above and beyond. The area is beautiful. Well worth the cost. We probably will not be going through the area, but if we do, we are going back
