Country Pride

Just had the most amazing dinner here. We had the surf and turf dinner.everything was perfectly cooked and the salad was fresh and clean, the soup was great. The waitress was sweet and efficient without being over attentive. Just good food and company.

I love to stop in to eat here, but the birds pooped on me two times! I hope that gets fixed, I know I'm not the only one judging by the splatters.

Right off interstate. Not fine dining, but 24 hour breakfast with lots of basic options. Eggs, bacon and grits. Grits were a little too thick for me. Not greasy. Reasonable price. Glanced at lunch and dinner options and look similar. A small buffet option for lunch. So gas up, do convenience store and pizza from pizza place or sit down to eat and get back on the road. server was nice. Plenty of space.

Not to impressed with this country pride, coffee was ok, hamburger steak was ok, worst mashed potatoes I’ve had, they seemed like they had been from yesterday, they tasted old. When they fill the toppings for the salad bar they remove them completely from the bar so I didn’t even get hardly any toppings on my salad. Service was definitely not good. I think my waitress said two words to me, didn’t even check on me once I got my food just dropped the check. Don’t know if I’d eat here again.

This is located at the TA truckstop and is one of three restaurants in that facility. The other two restaurants are "Pizza Hut to Go" and a "Popeye's Chicken". These two restaurants share a common seating area. The Country Pride is a sitdown buffet style restaurant or you can order from menu. The buffet was well stocked with a variety of meats, fish and vegetables. The salad bar was fresh and also well stocked. They offer fruits and cake for desserts. Your choice of Pepsi products to drink or the traditional coffee, tea (hot/cold) or water. Surprisingly, the water tasted pretty good - no noticeable chlorine or other nasty after taste. The waitress was extremely nice and tentative. We stopped in for and early dinner and to wait out an accident on Rt. 95 that had traffic backed up for m
