Cowboy's Smokehouse Cafe/Steakhouse

We stopped here as we were passing through, and so glad we did! I ordered the Reuben Sandwich and my husband ordered their pulled pork sandwich and both were soooo good. We came for lunch and it wasn’t super busy and our food came out really quick. Our server wasn’t also really kind and efficient. We will definitely come again next time we come through!

We came here 2 nights in a row. I got the ribeye steak one night and the filet mignon the next. Both were very good. Awesome coleslaw and baked yam side. I wasn’t as excited by the baked potato as I thought I would be. The frosty draft beer was great. Servers very friendly. My husband got the chile verde burrito and it was quite good. He was also happy with the ribs he ordered the first night. Beware that you will usually wait 30 minutes to 1 ½ hours to get a table for dinner. No reservations, and also no alcohol sold while you wait for your table (Utah law).

Legitimately has to be the best bbq in Utah and can go head to head with anything in the Salt Lake Valley! Food is delicious and comes out pretty quick. I got the 3-meat plate with brisket, turkey, and pulled pork. The brisket and turkey were my favorite. Delicious smoke flavor and tender meat. It's clear they take pride in the food they serve. The french fries were crispy and bbq baked beans also hit the spot! Prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food you get. This place gets super busy but is definitely worth the wait! I will definitely return the next time I'm down in the area.

Stopped for dinner while driving through town and was really glad we did. When you see a grill front and center, you figure it can’t be bad, and they did not disappoint. The steak was perfect, cooked exactly right with that great smoke flavor you can actually taste. BBQ was good, and they even have a small salad bar to round things out. Highly recommend this place, especially if you’re a steak lover. Seriously, that steak alone is worth the stop.

We absolutely adored our experience here. Shelbie was our waitress and she was fantastic. All the sides were incredible. We loved the pulled pork potato skins. I will say, the steak ends were cooked well done rather than mid rare, but the seasoning and flavor were so phenomenal, we didn’t mind! 10/10, will absolutely be back if I’m in the area. Closed on Sunday though! AND it is family run! Can’t get better than this for a small town!
