Crab Palace

My favorite Crab spot!!! Food here is usually fresh with no fishy taste, and a couple of very good dipping sauce options. Although, you have to be there when the doors open in hopes that they have large male crabs the large females are very good and fresh as well. However, it is the first come first serve basis and I don't think I'm the only person that acknowledges this is my favorite Crab spot... And you usually get a few extra crabs with your order.... Don't tell them I told you...

I got half dozen jumbo it was 55$. Now I'm a crab eater and I could eat a lot of crab. But I ate 3 and I was felling full already. A little too much seasoning. But the wait time was about 10 min for them to steam. Overall they were good.

First time i went there i got large female crabs 🦀 second time i tried these male medium crabs in the photo: So good and meatier compared to the female crabs I got last time. I love it! Service is fast and the price is very good and another bonus is that i noticed that they always give extra crabs 🦀 thank you!

Long time customer for years and I never had a bad experience. The quality here has never gone down. The best steamed snow crab 🦀 in New Jersey. You can taste the freshness in every bite. They cook it on site or you can take it frozen. The location is a bit weird (looks like a loading dock) but don’t let that discourage you. You will thank me later. One bite and you will be hooked on that steamed and seasoning 😋🦀.

This is probably the first time I ever gave a one star rating. We drove over an hour and arrived a half hour before opening. We intended to order a half bushel of large male crabs, but were told they had no large. So we ordered medium males. When we got home we discovered a 70/30 mix of females and males, respectively. Not only were they mixed, they were small. I used my small hand as a gauge in the pics. They had hardly any meat inside. And some were empty. Also, most of them had no claws. Eating them was all work, very little reward. They were definitely not worth $125. If we hadn’t been there before I’d have given them 2 stars. But we’ve been there multiple times in the past 3 years.
