Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

First time at this location. Got a table immediately at 10 am. R. Douglas was very friendly and helpful at our table. Food was served hot and fresh. Bathrooms were clean. Cashier at check out was very friendly as well.

We waited at the hostess station for over 5 minutes and nobody came. It was 2pm on a Tuesday so it wasn't busy. I finally asked the cashier if we could get seated. It took another 5 minutes. Our server Austin was very nice and checked back frequently. However, the person that delivered the food missed two items on my order that I had to remind them to bring out. The eggs were done perfectly but the ham was like leather. My husband said his chicken fried chicken was great. This is not the Cracker Barrel you want to go to if you are traveling and want to get in and out.

We decided on Cracker Barrel for a late brunch. We got seated immediately upon entering and got to looking at the menu's. We got drinks and ordered food right when they came to the table. Shortly later that the 3 other tables got filled next to us, after a 20 min wait 2 tables that got sat after us were served their food. At the 50 min mark our server had passed us 3 or 4 times with no update or courtesy message on the wait. Around the hour mark she came and asked is what we ordered again. She had only 1 table other than us when we ordered. Needless to say it was a terrible experience and we left without getting our meal. We absolutely will not be back to this location. Shondra was outstanding and attentive as a server. Ordered their steak and shrimp special, which was tasty. If it was a little more tender I'd rated higher, but it wasn't. They didn't have baked potato, but server recommended their mash potatoes with everything.. It was simply delicious and will try again rather than a loaded potato. The coca cola double chocolate cake was moist and went well with a little scoop of ice cream. Additionally, ordered a meal to go.. You can't beat the $5 price.

Our go to for a quick inexpensive breakfast, lunch or dinner. They serve balanced meals with fresh fruit and vegetables.
